Job Description

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

You will be the Data Scientist for our ITIT processes (Change, Incident, Problem). The aim is to develop trends, patterns from the events and incident, problem and change data and thus make data-driven decisions. The overarching goal is to improve IT stability on the basis of the analyses. This includes recognizing correlations, identifying risks and naming the business impact. This also includes the development of concrete recommendations for action.

Qualifications

YOU WILL SUCCEED IF YOU:

• Hold a university degree
• Are certified in ITIL (ITIL foundation certification)  
• Have experience with ITSM, PowerBI, other visualisation systems
• Have advanced skills of MS Office (MS Excel advanced, Excel macro is advantage)     
• Display analytical thinking capabilities and organizational skills
• Analyze and evaluate company-wide, complex databases using advanced analytics methods on modern data platforms.
• Conduct statistical analyses and uses machine learning techniques for integrating results from analyses into existing solutions and business processes (determination of trends, patterns, prediction models).
• Together with IT, development of evaluation and control tools for different data sources for provision of required records.
• Prepare and present decision templates and recommendations for action   

• Detailed tasks:
• Trend, patterns from the events that the monitoring has
• Provide Patterns to Predictive Monitoring | Proactive monitoring – fault prediction
• Vulnerabilities and gaps
• Analyze what do you see in the monitoring what missing, what in the ticks, where does it correlate?
• To identify what is missing in monitoring – white spots
• Identify the correlation of changes to events
• Derivation of risks and business impact -blast radius- based on change / ticket analyses
• Development of suggestions for improvement - recommendations for action

Possible specialisation (optional for recruitment reasons)

• Understanding of data mining principles and data optimization algorithms
• Knowledge and experience with reporting packages (eg Business Objects), databases (SQL etc), scripting and programming languages (XML, JavaScript, Python, R, etc)
• Knowledge of Hadoop (big data) analytics is an advantage

Salary

Final salary is negotiable.

We are offering base salary depending on seniority level and previous experience of candidate. In addition to base salary we provide variable part and other financial benefits. Base salary will not be lower than 1450€ /brutto.
