Job Description

Role Summary

In this role, you will report to the VP of Product Development. You'll be leading data engineering teams working on our Ascend Platform to develop the next generation Machine Learning Operations (ML Ops) capabilities so our clients can develop and deploy their ML models at scale and integrate them seamlessly with our other Ascend product offerings. You'll be managing data at scale and will be working on different ML frameworks written in a wide variety of languages such as Python, JAVA, Scala, R, SAS & C. Your team will work on key strategic initiatives to accelerate the development, training, testing, and deployment of models for clients while providing self-service intuitive UI to onboard models, build pipelines and manage model performance.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

• At least 4+ years of experience in a, large-scale technology company
• Experience developing teams that work on large-scale data infrastructure in an Agile environment
• Minimal technical requirements: Cloud experience (AWS preferred); Programming languages such as Java, Scala or Python; Big data technologies – Hadoop, Spark, Kafka etc.
• Experience working on both real-time and batch-processing data pipelines
• Strong background in object-oriented programming using Java, Spring, and microservices in a serverless AWS environment
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field

Key Responsibilities

• Guide the design, building, and launching of new custom models and data pipelines in production
• Grow the team to support product operations at scale. Mentor Engineers for their professional and career growth.
• Partner with product management/data infra/customer teams to build shared goals
• Drive execution of new product builds and feature enhancements to support revenue generating projects

• Data Science & ML experience
• At least 4 or more years of experience in, large-scale technology company

What you'll bring

This role will drive how various Ascend Products of Credit, Fraud and Delivery are delivered at scale without friction to our clients through single API offering. You will help us build universal integrators for Loan Origination Systems such as Meridian Link, Origence, Temenos, Drive Time etc that will help Experian unlock revenue opportunities to compete with the likes of Zest.
