Gain valuable experience in research methods, analytics and communicating research findings.

At Gallup, you’re more than just an intern. You’re a genuine part of our team, our culture and the impact we make on the world. As a quantitative social science intern at Gallup’s Riverfront campus in Omaha, Nebraska, you will support our world-class research team as they conduct research and disseminate results to solve the world’s most pressing problems. Interns will have hands-on opportunities to learn the process of developing both quantitative and qualitative research and collect, analyze, write and present data on a variety of topics in the Global Analytics division.

Our previous research interns designed and implemented surveys, analyzed data from nationally and globally representative surveys, participated in focus groups, collaborated with consultants and clients, wrote about research findings for a nontechnical audience, and conducted literature reviews on emerging areas of research. Their projects included an investigation of data quality for opt-in samples, collaboration on published articles, analysis of Gallup data on social wellbeing and loneliness, and more. Learn more about our previous interns’ experiences.

For 90 years, Gallup has set the gold standard for survey and other social science research methodology. Our global presence means we have more data and insights on the attitudes and behaviors of employees, customers, students and citizens than any other organization.
