WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?

In this role the Product Manager, will be responsible to work with other Chief Data Office members and stakeholders to drive the adoption of small to medium solutions. The product manager will also assist the Product Owner to manage larger and more complex products.  Specifically, the product manager will work with Data Governance and Data Management products.  The product manager will be a SME with regards to Business and Technical Metadata, Lineage, Data Catalogue etc.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

The successful candidate be responsible to provide subject matter expertise, and help users adopt the platform while adhering to the best practices. Key activity will be working with development team on creation of user stories and performing user acceptance testing.

They will assist in design of new products or changes to existing products. Applies experience and seasoned knowledge, skills, and practices to perform a variety of assignments.

  • Evaluating processes and resources to identify potential limitations in product. Modifying designs to maximize client adoption and product quality.

  • Gathering internal and external feedback to identify potential improvements to existing products.

  • Using tools to develop needs for new products or for revisions to existing products. Tracking the status of projects from inception to release.

  • Generating processes and plans to measure product quality and evaluating results to identify deficiencies. Adjusting to client’s and business needs and requirements as needed.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?

 Must have:

  • Experience with business metadata, Technical metadata  & product management

  • Strong understanding of the data lifecycle, including strong focus on data profiling, management and governance

  • Proven ability to design, execute, and continuously improve business processes
