Job Description

Job Role 

This is a customer facing role for the Managed Service department and you will ensure that our customers enterprise level web applications. These applications will typically be based on ASP.NET technologies. Occasionally, we would need your help outside of the normal office hours which of course, will be highly recognised and rewarded.

As a Senior Data Engineer (.Net specialist) expect to be:

• Able to understand the client requirements.
• Upgrade existing .NET websites and applications.
• Design and deliver innovative software solutions in collaboration with Technology teams.
• Write clean, scalable code using .NET programming languages.
• Reviewing and debugging .NET applications.
• Documenting application operating procedures.
• Implement, improve, and maintain backend services.
• Design, develop Test and deploy applications and systems.
• Write optimized SQL queries and complex stored procedures.
• Serve as an expert on .net applications and provide technical support.
• Keeping up to date with the technologies as per need of the projects.

Qualifications

Must Have Skills:

Core: ASP.NET, ASP.Net MVC 4.0 or above, C#, Web API, Entity Frameworks 6.0 or above, Visual Studio 2019/Visual Studio 2022, JSON, ReactJS or Vue.JS, Azure Services, Microsoft SQL Server 2019

Supporting: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, Writing Unit Test cases

Concepts/Principles: Object Oriented Programming, Web Programming, ASP.Net MVC Architecture, Agile Methodology (SCRUM)

Good to Have Skills:

• Asynchronous Programming, Multithreading
• Should have experience in code repository management using DevOps, Visual studio online, Git, SVN etc.
• SOLID Principles (.NET Patterns and practices)
• Hands on experience on Microsoft Azure Services with Developing, Deploying and configuring Azure Web Apps, Azure App Services using Visual Studio.
• Experience in cloud migration and integration.
• Experience in building solutions using Blob Storage, Azure Files, Tables, Event Hub, Service Bus.
