Developing globally scalable AI and machine learning solutions that help us get new clinical products to patients faster and more efficiently.

In this role you will be part of the Data Engineer team, where our ambition is to support the development and maintenance of Data Product cloud services, with a high level of support and a pro-active maintenance. You will Work with Data Engineers and Business to support, improve and develop new functionality, new features, security and ensure the Data Product respect the SLA defined.

Main responsibilities:

• Lead and support the design, deployment, and management of Snowflake based solutions to meet business requirements, security and technical objectives
• Communicate with support team to help solving implementation issues and support requests
• Work closely with the Snowflake, Data Engineering and Architect teams to identify and implement coherent solutions
• Implement and maintain AWS infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize Snowflake, AWS services for performance, cost, and reliability
• Implement security best practices on the AWS platform, including identity and access management, encryption, and compliance
• Automate operational tasks and processes using AWS-native tools and scripting languages

About you

• Experience: 8+ years of professional experience in designing and managing Cloud-based (AWS, Azure) solutions, experience in cloud based Big Data infrastructure (Snowflake, Databricks), experience with orchestration tools (Airflow), good knowledge of bash scripting, knowledge of DevOps tools and CI/CD solutions (e.g. GitHub), experience with IaaS tools like Terraform. As senior, you have experienced influence across a team without being the manager
• Technical skills: Experience in Big Data integration platform in Cloud (Snowflake, Databricks), expertise with scripting language (bash, Python) and IaC tools (Terraform), experience with job scheduling and orchestration (Airflow)
• Soft skills: Good presentation and communication skills with a strong attention to detail and listening capacity. Rigorous on following best practice you have ability to work both independently and as part of a team.  In a team spirit mode, with different multicultural actors, you can promote importance of governance.  You demonstrate capacity to learn new technologies in short amount of time to adapt to changes and answer challenges
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field
• Languages: Fluency in English is a must to operate in a multicultural environment
