Associate Product Data Analyst
Job Description
The purpose of this position is to create and maintain product data that represents MillerKnoll and its subsidiary brand offerings. This data is used for the specification of the MillerKnoll furniture family of products in software such as 3D Cloud and 3D Room Planner. The role involves not only managing, processing, and automating data but also ensuring its accuracy before publication. This position is global in scope, supporting Miller Knoll’s multinational business capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Learn and understand 3D vendor’s database structure and content workflow
- Must have a strong attention to detail to ensure that data is correct, and functions as intended.
- Ability to handle complex datasets and large amounts of information in common spreadsheet formats
- Comfortable with complex logic and business rules from a data perspective
- Handle content and technical issues in a timely manner
- Be in constant communication with stakeholders to understand data scope and requirements
- Communicate accurate status of all data work to inform planning
- Able to read product information guide documents and formulate how products should be re-constructed using 3D configuration.
- Ensuring data accuracy of products, attributes, options, etc. and ensuring a consistency of data representation across product lines.
- Conduct self-test or unit testing and evaluation of data to ensure it is error-free before deployment.
- Perform as first level support for the team's technology support email/phone line responding to user problems and questions.
- Capable of understanding client’s/dealer’s/customer’s requirements and communicate with them fluently during various stages of the projects.
Skills & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Math, Engineering or equivalent or other (Mechanical, Civil or relevant) with 3 or more years of experience in data analysis, creation and manipulation.
- Experience in Product Management or data analysis is highly recommended.
- Strong working knowledge of Excel and/or Google Sheets (Formulas).
- Should be detail oriented and possess analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work individually or within a team environment.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical and functional problems with intuitive problem-solving techniques.
- Ability to take ownership of multiple tasks and priorities in a healthy work environment.
- Works well under pressure and deadlines.
- Good communication skills verbal and written (English).
- Ability to work to predefine priorities as part of a multi-regional team.
- Should be willing to be flexible in terms of working shifts (12.00 pm to 9.00pm IST).
