Job Description

Our data team has expertise across engineering, analysis, architecture, modeling, machine learning, artificial intelligence, and data science. This discipline is responsible for transforming raw data into actionable insights, building robust data infrastructures, and enabling data-driven decision-making and innovation through advanced analytics and predictive modeling. 

As a Data Consultant at Endava you will focus on the technical implementation of various data projects, from designing and building DW solutions, to developing end to end migration frameworks or building data reporting systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of solution architectures. 
  • Ensure the availability and use of appropriate tools and methods. 
  • Prepare technical plans and coordinate resources within change programs. 
  • Advise on technical aspects of solution development and ensure correct application of strategies, policies, standards, and practices, including security.
  • Develop and implement master data management processes, including classification, security, quality, ethics, retrieval, and retention. 
  • Create data management structures and metadata for consistent information retrieval, analysis, and interpretation. 
  • Plan effective data storage, sharing, and publishing within the organization. 
  • Provides expert guidance on database and data warehouse architectures, software, and facilities. 
  • Specializes in DBMS and data warehouse design.
  • Ensures database design supports performance and availability, and data warehouse design meets business intelligence and analytics needs.
  • Oversee all software development stages, planning and driving construction activities. 
  • Adopt suitable methods and techniques, monitor adherence to standards, including security, and contribute to organizational policies and guidelines.

Qualifications

  • Familiarity with AWS technologies
  • 5+ years of systems architecture experience with large-scale data warehouse platforms and applications.
  • Wide experience leading teams and stakeholder management.
  • Strong data modeling skills (normalized and multidimensional).
  • Strong data analysis and SQL skills.
  • Strong SQL scripting experience.
  • Background and experience with cloud data technologies and tools.
  • Familiar with distributed computing environments.
  • Experience implementing ELT processes and Data pipelines.
  • Background and experience with data tools and technologies like:
  • BigQuery, Redshift, Snowflake, and other Data warehouse tools
  • Spark, Hadoop, Apache Beam, Dataproc, or similar.
  • Real-time and Batch processing.
  • Serverless processing.
  • Proficiency in a programming language like Python, Scala, or similar.
  • Good leadership and communication skills.
  • Team-oriented attitude and the ability to work well with others to achieve a common goal.
  • Open to working in an agile environment as part of a scrum team.
  • The ability to take the initiative, drive the project and innovate.
  • Having a proactive attitude towards solving problems.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Good client-facing skills.

Sales force skills

  • Hands-on experience with integration techniques of Salesforce
  • Experience with developing data models and data flows
  • Salesforce Certified Admin I and/or Salesforce Platform Developer I
  • Functional knowledge of Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud and/or Marketing Cloud
