Instructor of Data Analytics - Adjunct

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly knowledgeable and experienced Adjunct Professor of Data Analytics to join our prestigious Executive Education program. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in data science, big data, and advanced analytics techniques, and will be passionate about imparting this knowledge to senior executives and professionals. This role is pivotal in helping leaders leverage data analytics to drive strategic decision-making and solve complex business challenges. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Curriculum Development: Design, develop, and continuously update course materials that cover the full spectrum of data analytics, including data-driven decision-making, big data technologies, machine learning, and predictive analytics. Ensure the curriculum is comprehensive, up-to-date, and aligned with the latest industry practices and technological advancements. 

• Course Delivery: Conduct engaging and rigorous classes, workshops, and seminars that challenge participants to think critically and apply data analytics techniques to real-world business scenarios. Utilize a mix of teaching methods such as lectures, case studies, hands-on projects, and interactive simulations to enhance learning outcomes. 

• Applied Learning: Provide guidance and mentorship to executives and professionals on how to apply data analytics tools and methodologies to address specific business problems. Encourage practical application through projects, case studies, and real-time data analysis exercises. 

• Student Assessment: Develop robust assessment tools to evaluate student performance, including exams, projects, and presentations. Provide timely and constructive feedback to help students improve their analytical skills and achieve their learning goals. 

• Industry Integration: Stay connected with the latest developments in the field of data analytics, including emerging tools, platforms, and techniques. Incorporate these insights into the course content and foster relationships with industry professionals to bring current, real-world perspectives into the classroom. 

• Collaboration: Partner with the Executive Education team to ensure that the course content meets the evolving needs of industry and aligns with the overall objectives of the program. Participate in curriculum reviews, program development, and other collaborative initiatives to enhance the value of the Executive Education offerings. 

Qualifications: 

• Educational Background: A Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a closely related field is required. Candidates with advanced certifications in data analytics, machine learning, or related disciplines will be highly regarded. 

• Professional Experience: Extensive experience in data analytics, data science, big data technologies, or similar roles, with a proven track record of using data to drive business decisions. Experience in consulting or working with C-suite executives on data-driven strategies is highly desirable. 
• Teaching Experience: Prior teaching experience at the university level, particularly in executive education or professional development programs, is preferred. Experience in creating and delivering online or hybrid courses is an advantage. 
• Analytical and Communication Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts and communicate them effectively to a non-technical audience. Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to engage and inspire senior professionals. 
• Continuous Learning: A commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with the latest trends and advancements in data analytics. Active participation in professional organizations and networks is encouraged. 
• Fluency in both English and Arabic is required.
