Requisition Summary

PACCAR Technical Center Advanced Analytics is looking for a Data Analyst interested in all aspects of the data process cycle. A successful candidate will be curious, self-driven, analytical and excited to play with data.

This position is located in Lewisville, TX.

Job Functions / Responsibilities

  • Build and automate reports and dashboards
  • Work closely with the Analytics team members to identify, design and build appropriate datasets for complex experiments
  • Build data expertise and own data quality for allocated areas of ownership
  • Work with teams cross-functionally to explore and understand our data and business needs
  • Perform data analysis to generate business insights

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Curious, self-driven, analytical and excited to play with data
  • SQL
  • Tableau, PowerBI or similar
  • Knowledge of database systems
  • Knowledge of Python
  • Basic statistics and probability
  • Initiative on solving problems and completing tasks in a reasonable time frame.
  • Written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong team contributor

 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Strong programming skills: SQL and Python
  • Familiarity with machine learning and statistical modeling is a plus.

Education

  • A degree in Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Math, Physics or a related quantitative field required
