Data Analytics Senior Manager

As the Data Analytics Sr. Manager reporting into the Head of Marketing, Ferinject BU you will guide and support local senior management and cross functional teams with proactive insights and recommendations from data analysis and market research to support the Ferinject launch and ongoing uptake in the Canadian market.  You will lead data analytics projects with IQVIA and other vendors to generate and enhance local business analytics / market intelligence within the oral and IV iron market.   This will also include working with vendors to deliver impactful business insights, obtaining input from key internal stakeholders and ensure that budget and timelines are met.

The Data Analytics Associate will collaborate with the Product Manager to optimize the understanding of brand performance trends, strategic insights and identify new opportunities for brand uptake.  The Data Analytics Associate will also share findings with senior leadership team, and occasionally with the sales field team in the form of prepared written and oral presentations.   

You will lead the framing of business questions (IWIKs), identifying / integrating data sources and applying market research and analytical methods to answer the questions. You will also translate findings / insights from research and data analysis into actionable recommendations for strategic and operational projects and report them to a broader business audience.

In summary, this is a leadership role where the following outcomes are expected:

• IQVIA vendor management lead role: be the main point of contact between CSL Ferinject Leadership team and IQVIA and lead IQVIA projects from concept to inception.
• Insights Lead: Recommend best plan of action to leadership team to effectively collect required insights to feed launch strategy and beyond.  This will include IQVIA data analytics, consult meetings and market research projects.
• Identification of market opportunities: through analysis of key insights, this role is expected feed strategy and guide marketing team to respond to new and ongoing opportunities.
• Play lead role at sales meetings and with the entire CSL team to share knowledge and insights gained. 
• Ideally applicants should have a minimum of 7 years in a similar role within the pharmaceutical industry.

Qualifications: 

·       Bachelors' degree in business, marketing, communications, life sciences or healthcare

        discipline; MBA preferred.

·       7+ years of related experience (market research, data analytics) in the life sciences industry

        in similar role.

·       Excellent analytical skills and good knowledge of statistics

·       Project management skills

·       Solid understanding of pharmaceutical databases

·       Ability and willingness to take on a hands-on role in project execution.

·       Methodical work approach with great attention to detail

·       Quick grasp of new concepts and high willingness to learn on the job.

·       Professional level in English, both in oral and in written communications

Position requires approximately 30% travel, including some weekends.
