SEON is looking for a Data Analyst with strong expertise in commercial analytics. 

You will join our Business Intelligence and Analytics team, a group of skilled professionals dedicated to harnessing data to provide valuable insights, support informed decision-making, and drive business success. Our team members utilize their data analysis, statistics, visualization, and technology expertise to transform raw data into actionable information. Our primary mission is to empower SEON with data-driven insights, enabling data-informed decisions to drive business growth and efficiency.

You will ensure the seamless delivery of our reporting services both to our clients and internal departments. As a Data Analyst, you will speed up these processes, and handle any internal or external communication. 

The successful candidate will turn data into information, information into insights, and insights into business decisions. A Data Analyst's responsibilities at SEON include conducting full lifecycle data analyses and reporting capabilities.

This is a hybrid role and the ideal candidate will be based in Budapest.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

•  Use data to make us the best fraud fighters worldwide and make e-commerce safe for everyone! 
• Work cross-functionally to define problem statements, collect data, build analytical models, and make recommendations to provide a competitive advantage for the business.
• Apply statistical techniques to conduct hypothesis testing, regression analysis, and other advanced analytics to extract meaningful insights.
• Interpret complex data sets and present findings clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Work closely with the data engineering team to provide everyone at SEON with the needed data.
• Provide expertise and help data power users translate business needs to design and develop tools, techniques, metrics, and dashboards for insights and data visualization.
• Proactively identify opportunities to enhance analytical processes and methodologies. 

WHAT YOU’ll BRING:

•  A minimum of 3-4 years experience in an analytical role,
• Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management capabilities,
• High level of SQL and Python experience
• Wide experience with any of the data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or others,
• Existing knowledge in Revenue management analytical models for forecasting / segmentation / churn / pricing analysis is a great advantage,
• Good knowledge of Tableau is an advantage,
• Experience with Jupyter Notebook is an advantage.
