Mercury® Financial is headquartered in the progressive and entrepreneurial tech hub of Austin, Texas. Our physical location is situated in a beautiful park like setting called the Domain. Mercury® Financials' Wilmington, Delaware office is located near the Riverfront. Wilmington is Delaware’s largest city and is the economic engine of the state. Role:     Strategic Analytics Senior Analyst

What a day is like:

• Complete financial modeling to support Strategic Analytics initiatives 
• Generate better customer insights across Acquisitions and Existing Customer Marketing areas to increase profitable decision-making efforts
• Responsible for increasing efficiency and speed of unit of one customer return profiles at a segmentation level across customer lifecycle
• Enhance current reporting activities and create new reports to support customer lifecycle teams
• Collaborate in a cross-functional capacity to meet team and corporate financial objectives
• Ad-hoc production, reporting and analysis requests to support executive level decisions and communications

You’re perfect for this role if you: 

  Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Analytics or related field.  Quantitative degree is a plus
• 2+ years of experience of financial modeling or related fields.  Experience in credit cards or consumer finance is a plus
• Ability to use SAS, R, Python and other Machine Learning / Generative AI tools 
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) 
• Exhibit strong analytical skills and have ability to communicate findings
• Excellent communication and presentation skills 
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities as needed
