Qorvo’s Internship Program is designed for college students currently enrolled in an accredited Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD program. Qorvo offers real work experience, exposure to upper management, and the opportunity to pursue full time opportunities, as available.

Qorvo’s Automated Process Control Internships are offered in our High Performance Analog, Advanced Cellular, and Connectivity and Sensors business groups. Specific projects and responsibilities will be determined based on the business needs at the time of the internship assignment.

 

Responsibilities may include:

  • Analyzing data to optimize factory performance, increase yields, and reduce costs
  • Using various analytical techniques including predictive modelling to improve process control
  • Collaborating with engineers to establish control plans to optimize equipment and process performance
  • Ability and willingness to work in cross functional engineering teams

 

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a BS, MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Engineering
  • Background in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering,  Materials Science, Chemistry, Physics, or Data Science a plus
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, R, SQL, Apache Spark
  • Strong data analysis skills using tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, Spotfire, JMP, Plotly, Matlab
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Self-Starter with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail
  • Understanding of version control systems like doccenter or git
  • Familiarity with semiconductor wafer processing and/or knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles are strongly preferred
