What you will be doingUnder the direction of the Global VP of AR, the Director Data Analytics & Reporting is responsible for defining and implementing the GFSS analytics and reporting strategy. This role will be responsible for collaborating with the process owners to develop analytic strategies which provides risk identification, trends, anomalies, and generally supports business objectives. This role will elevate the profile, capability, and business value of analytics and reporting. They will work with the process owners to understand Key Performance Metrics and drive company measurement, reporting and analytics across business functions. In addition, they will understand how these metrics and measures align and track against overall business strategies, goals and objectives. This role will manage a team of Business Analysts that work closely with the business functions to support and define ongoing and strategic reporting requirements.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Works closely with IT to enable and support the GFSS program and other key initiatives with the appropriate analytical and reporting tools
- Facilitates and encourages a self-service information and analytic culture
- Coordinates and encourages consistencies across the GFSS organizations to deliver analytics and reporting solutions that deliver business needs through a common framework using enterprise standards
- Works closely with the Master Data organization to ensure consistent updates and usage of the Enterprise Key Figures data dictionary and other master data dictionaries
- Works across GFSS to identify automation opportunities and collaborates with automation teams to implementation
- Directs and oversees the shared services reporting requirement requests; requests may be ad hoc and will vary based on the current need
- Responsible for developing the strategy to extracting and reporting shared services data
- Driving data source and tool innovations based on stakeholder data needs, including reviewing current in-house technologies or adopting new technologies
- Work closely with IT with respect to the implementation of IT’s enterprise data strategy, acting as shared services key representatives for all discussions regarding technologies, data quality, and processes
- Design processes around the collection of new / additional operating metrics to be used for reporting
- Develop partnerships across the enterprise regarding enhancing the effectiveness and efficiency of shared services data analytics
- Responsible for developing and ensuring that policies and processes are documented and the appropriate controls are in place
- Performs related duties as assigned
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Requires broad training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four-year Bachelor's Degree Program. Normally requires a minimum of ten (10) years directly related and progressively responsible experience. Having external and/or Internal Audit experience and PMO (Project Management) experience is a plus.

- A strong leader with demonstrated ability to build collaboration, motivate teams in achieving shared objectives and provide support across the enterprise.
- Ability to work with all levels of clients in a highly dynamic environment.
- Strong presentation skills; ability to present and discuss strategies and technical information in a manner that establishes rapport, persuades others, and establishes understanding for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Superior analytical skills relative to financial transactions and business processes
- Excellent organizational skills; attention to detail
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
- Excellent integration, implementation and management skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Working knowledge of computers necessary to operate effectively with company systems and programs
- Extensive familiarity with sophisticated databases, data warehousing and ETL systems and processes
- Experience building, developing, and administering a variety of databases. Relevant skills/platforms would include VBA, Access, SQL server, Business Objects, etc.
- Significant MS Excel and financial modeling skills
- Experience with financial reporting, planning, and automation tools (e.g. SAP, PowerBI, Power Automate, Automation Anywhere, )
- Self-starter who will anticipate challenges and work proactively to resolve issue
