Job Description & Summary

In PwC Poland’s Digital& we create innovative applications and deliver data-driven insights by combining software engineering expertise with advanced data analysis, including GenAI applications. Our capabilities span across data science, UX design, business intelligence, data engineering, frontend & backend development and cloud solutions. Our multidisciplinary approach ensures that we deliver comprehensive, impactful solutions that drive business success. We carry out projects in various industries, including banking, insurance and retail, supporting clients from Europe, the USA, South America and Asia.

We are looking for:

Senior BI Developer 

Your future role: 

• Design and develop the visual layer of BI dashboards and analytical solutions, leveraging data visualization expertise,

• Create ETL processes and data models for dashboard purposes.

• Engage directly with various business stakeholders to understand their needs, gather requirements, and transform these into data-driven solutions that aid in decision-making,

• Perform data analysis to uncover patterns, trends, and insights for business growth,

• Collaborate with diverse teams, including data scientists, data engineers, and UX designers, fostering a cross-functional approach to problem-solving.

Apply if you have: 

• At least 3 years of professional experience in Business Intelligence, data visualization and analytics,

• Proficiency in Power BI (with very good knowledge of DAX, Power Query) and at least one other BI tool (e.g. Tableau, Qlik, Microstrategy),

• Strong knowledge of databases and data modeling concepts with practical experience in technologies such as SQL, ETL tools (e.g. Alteryx) or Python,

• Strong analytical skills and the ability to transform complex business requirements into efficient BI solutions,

• Proven track record conducting workshops with clients and gathering business requirements (business objectives, user needs and goals, supporting metrics, technical specifications, data sources),

• Solid knowledge of data visualization and information design best practices coupled with exceptional care for detail, clarity and aesthetics,

• Excellent command of English essential in working on international engagements,

• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills essential in daily coordination with  stakeholders of diverse backgrounds (business, creative, technical).

Nice to have: 

• Experience working in a consulting space or in a similar client-facing, fast moving environment,

• Understating of teamwork principles in one of the project management methodologies,

• Experience in overseeing team members on projects,

• Background in UX or UI design and familiarity with design software (e.g. Figma),

• Practical skills in using Power Platform (e.g. Power Apps, Power Automate), cloud platforms (e.g. Azure),

• Familiarity with AI and GenAI solutions and their usage in data analytics space.
