Data Engineer - Tietoevry Banking, Customer Support & Dispute Services

Tietoevry Banking, the leading financial services software partner in the Nordics, is seeking a skilled Data Engineer for our Cards unit. We offer modular banking solutions and market-leading software across core, payments, credit, cards, financial fraud, and wealth. Role Overview: As a Data Engineer in our Customer Support & Dispute Services department, you will:

• Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, developers, and managers.

• Design, construct, install, test, and maintain scalable data management systems.

• Work with large datasets, build data pipelines, and ensure data reliability for analysis and business decision-making.

• Contribute to our data analytics and AI strategy, leveraging AI technologies for enhanced data insights and solutions.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Software Engineer or similar role.

• Proficiency in data modeling and database management.

• Strong programming skills (e.g., Python, Java, SQL).

• Knowledge of big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).

• Experience with ETL processes.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

• Understanding of AI and machine learning techniques.

• Fluent in Norwegian and English.
