Tasks

Your future responsibilities

In the Data Engineering Domain:

• Develop data pipelines to collect relevant data from internal and external sources (product DBs, CRM, accounting system, web analytics, etc.) to build and maintain a data warehouse.
• Work closely with the product, operations, and sales & marketing teams to understand their data needs.
• Enable stakeholders across the organization to query and analyze the stored data relevant to them in a self-service manner (e.g., by connecting Google Sheets, Looker Studio).

In the ML Engineering Domain:

• Monitor the ML/AI space for evolving and maturing technologies relevant to Rivero and our products.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of areas identified as potentially relevant, such as but not limited to the usage of LLMs for RAG (powerful semantic search) and “text to SQL” (data query and analytics based on natural language) use cases.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and other stakeholders to present the results of such analysis and define hypotheses for specific use cases.
• Develop proof of concepts to validate applicability and feasibility for use cases related to our products and internal usage.
• Work closely with product engineering teams to move validated use cases from proof of concept to beta status for field testing.
• Collaborate with the systems and cloud engineering team on the deployment and operations of ML applications (MLOps).

Requirements

What We Are Looking For

• Passion for creating robust data pipelines and engaging with stakeholders to meet their data needs.
• Strong proficiency in SQL.
• Experience in monitoring and analyzing emerging ML/AI technologies.
• Proficiency in developing proof of concepts and transitioning them into field testing.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g. Python, Scala, Java, Kotlin)
• Strong collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to communicate the analysis results effectively and influence product direction.
• Experience developing and deploying robust ML systems.
