Azure Data, BI Engineer

Jalasoft is looking for a skilled Azure Data & BI Engineer to join our innovative team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and managing data solutions using Microsoft Azure, as well as creating insightful business intelligence reports. You will work with various teams to ensure data accessibility and integrity while implementing best practices in data engineering.

Requirements

- Experience in data engineering, with a background in building solutions using the Microsoft Azure technologies, including serverless and/or containerized architectures, while ensuring data integrity, consistency, and accessibility across various data layers.

- Proven experience in Power BI, with a strong focus on data modeling and data warehouse modeling, including the creation and management of fact and dimension tables.

- Advanced skills in data transformation using Power Query, DAX, and calculated measures.

- Ability to create complex and insightful reporting visualizations.

- Experience designing and implementing data architectures using medallion architecture (bronze, silver, and gold) and snowflake schemas with bridge tables.

- Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure Data Explorer (ADX) for data ingestion and transformation.

- Proven expertise with Microsoft Fabric, including Lakehouse implementations using Spark.

Nice to have

- Experience developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for data artifacts.

- Familiarity with Azure DevOps (ADO).

- Experience building cloud-native applications using PaaS services.

- Experience in C# and .NET, is a big plus.
