Associate Consultant for TMT

Job Role: 

• Support a variety of client specific analytics projects. 

• This role requires a deep understanding and expertise in Power BI. The individual should possess advanced skills in creating interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Power BI. 

• Individual will also be responsible for ensuring data accuracy, developing efficient data models, and building visuals to convey information effectively. 

• Furthermore, they should have good problem-solving skills to troubleshoot any issues that may arise during the development and deployment of Power BI solutions.

• Good SQL skills to query data as and when required. 

• Seek and build relationships to enhance delivery and to better understand, identify, and work through issues across the practice. 

• Working collaboratively with different KPMG teams in the development of and delivery of recommendations. 

 Preferred: Advanced SQL and python/ pyspark; basic knowledge of Azure tech stack (Databricks,etc) is beneficial. 

• Willing to work in overlap with US time zone. 

• Work with key stakeholders to develop infrastructure to support large analytical projects. 

Professional Skills: 

• Masters/ Bachelor in Engineering/ Economics or any quant heavy domain with 2-3 years of experience in analytics.

• The candidate must have 2+ years of experience in data analytics, data engineering. 

Technical Skills: 

• Strong proficiency in managing and generating insights from large volumes of data using ETL tools and presenting them through visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc) 

• Advanced Power BI and Power Query skills required. 

• Conceptualize & create dashboards and reports for clients, senior stakeholders & presenting them. 

• Proficiency in MS-Office - Intermediate/Advanced MS-Excel, MS-PowerPoint, and MS-Word 

• Proficiency in python or PySpark and SQL for data transformations and wrangling.

 • Should be ready to learn any new technology that comes their way. 

• Highly articulate with excellent communication 

• Strong numerical, analytical, and strategic thinking skills, and sound business / commercial acumen Behavioral Skills:

• Ability to plan and deliver on a project 

• Ability to effectively interact with peers, subject matter leads and other internal/external stakeholders
