Commercial & Digital Solutions (CDS)

CDS is enabling safer, more efficient, more sustainable operations wherever businesses operate on land. Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the full back-end data architecture on behalf of the Data Led Sales team
  • Create and maintain optimal data pipeline architectures
  • Coordinate effectively with the resources within the team and build relationships with other teams (including the Data Engineering team, the Insights Analytics & Reporting team and Product teams etc.)
  • Provide coaching and support on data engineering best practices to the other members of the team to ensure that the end-to-end solutions are robust, high performing and scalable
  • Push the team to take their end-to-end tools to the next level and provide them the data foundations to do so

Qualifications

Essential:

  • Extensive SQL expertise (ideally with Google Big Query)
  • Strong hands on experience with source code control tools such as Git
  • Experience building and orchestrating pipelines in DBT
  • Strong python skills

Desirable:

  • Experience working within an agile team and familiarity with JIRA
  • Degree in a Data Science or Computer Science related discipline
  • Experience with end user data and visualisation tools such as Tableau
  • Experience working with APIs
