Digital Solutions Manager

This role exists to empower the digital future with technology, shaping and driving technology disruption and digital transformation strategy aligned with business objectives. Manage Tech applications portfolio with focused on proactive application lifecycle management and manage the required stakeholders (globally/locally) to achieve this. This role will act as a bridge between business teams, business requirements and development teams to deliver products as per business needs.

A balance of business process understanding, and technical breadth is required. In addition, an ability to operate in a flexible and agile way to drive efficiency and improvements to commercial business and global support functions would be crucial.

Expectation is driving the project team by providing project leadership: Plan, direct and deliver projects using agreed project management approaches and techniques. Ensure that the goals and objectives of the project are accomplished within time frames and funding parameters negotiated with sponsors / business partners and in line with critical business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaboration and Communication:

• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements
• Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively
• Foster a collaborative and innovative culture within the Digital and Tech department

Solution Design and Architecture:

• Develop and maintain comprehensive digital solution architectures that meet business requirements
• Ensure alignment of digital solutions with the overall technology strategy and enterprise architecture
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to enhance digital capabilities

Tech Delivery:

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of digital projects, ensuring timely and within-budget completion
• Collaborate with project managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless execution
• Monitor and report on project progress, addressing any issues or risks proactively

Vendor Relations:

• Manage relationships with technology vendors and service providers
• Coordinate with vendors to integrate third-party solutions into the company's digital ecosystem
• Partner with employees to drive execution on employee relations, employee engagement, recruitment, performance management

Why you?

Basic Qualifications

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

• +8 years’ work experience
• Bachelor’s degree in quantitative field (Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Management Information Systems etc.)
• Proven experience as a Tech Solutions Lead/Manager, or similar role in an information systems and digital environment
• Strong understanding of technology architectures, including cloud, microservices, DevOps and API-driven architectures
• Experience in Mobile and Web applications development and application store hosting processes
• Experience with digital marketing technologies and platforms
• Excellent vendor management skills, with experience in negotiating contracts and managing service providers
• Experience in Azure Web Applications and DevOps systems is an asset
• Experience in data analytics, coding (eg, NET, Python, Java, SQL), and data modeling is an asset
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and DevOps practices
• Pharma experience is an asset
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Fluency in English
• Multi-cultural sensitivity
