Embedded Audio Firmware Engineer
Tasks
- Bring up new hardware boot clocks and peripherals
- Collaborate with chip design and systems teams on requirements
- Contribute to IP methods and techniques
- Create manufacturing and production diagnostics
- Define requirements and interfaces
- Design embedded firmware for DSP cores
- Design simulate characterize and optimize signal processing algorithms
- Develop unit tests test harnesses and lab setups
- Implement embedded firmware in C and Cpp
- Optimize firmware performance memory and power
- Perform code reviews and establish embedded best practices
- Set up interrupt vectors and early validation
- Use debugging and profiling tools
- Write documentation and design requirement specs
