Data Developer

The Data Developer reporting to the Data Operations Lead, is responsible for building end-to-end data solutions using the data tool stack used by the Enterprise Data team in Angle Auto Finance, including Azure Synapse Analytics, Snowflake, dbt Cloud, Azure Data Factory, Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities;

• Automate morning checks, reconciliation, and alerting starting with critical reporting use cases.

• Re-architect Power BI data platform.

• Re-engineer existing Power BI data products for better performance and robustness.

• Build new end-to-end solutions that span Power BI, Synapse (to be replaced by Snowflake), Power Automate, and Power Apps data tools.

  • E.g. Power BI products that allow users to enter their own data as inputs to analytical models. 

• Administer the Power BI platform and related data tools.  Provide governance to data processes.

Committee involvement

• Project steering committees as required by each project.

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Technology, Business Administration or equivalent.

• Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate or equivalent

• Power Platform certifications or equivalent (e.g. PL-100 Microsoft Certified : Power Platform App Maker associate):

  • PL-7001: Create and Manage Canvas Apps with Power Apps

  • PL-7002: Create and Manage Automated Processes by using Power Automate

  • PL-7003: Create and Manage Model-Driven Apps with Power Apps and Dataverse

• Microsoft Certified : Azure Data Engineer Associate or equivalent

Experience

• Proven experience with building data solutions, especially with Power BI.

• Experience with Azure Synapse Analytics, Snowflake, dbt Cloud, Azure Data Factory, Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps is preferred.

• Experience in the auto finance industry is preferred but not essential.
