Job Description: Responsible for designing and optimizing our data and data architecture. Primarily responsible for creating and maintaining an optimal data pipeline architecture. Identify, design and implement internal process improvements including re-design of existing data flows for greater scalability, optimize data delivery, and automate manual processes. Work with multiple

business units to integrate data across ACG. Lead stakeholder design and sprint review meetings. Maintain knowledge of multiple Cloud Platforms and 'big data' technologies including Google, IBM, Microsoft, and Amazon. Mentor, share knowledge and give guidance to Sr Data Analyst, Data Engineer I and other users of data across IT and business. Design innovative, high performance data movement and transformation architectures. Building required infrastructure for optimal extraction, transformation and loading of data from various data sources using Cloud and SQL technologies. Possess excellent analytics skills to utilize the data pipeline, providing actionable insight into key business performance metrics including operational efficiency and customer acquisition. Perform root cause analysis on external and internal processes and data to identify opportunities for improvement and answer questions. Keep data separated and secure across the footprint.

Requirements: Requires Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Informatics, Information Systems or a related field and 3 years of experience as a Data Engineer or similar role. Must have 3 years of experience with the following: integrating tools with big data platforms and building data transformation accelerator tools; building and optimizing ‘big data’ data pipelines, architectures and data sets; message queuing, stream processing, and highly scalable ‘big data’ data stores; relational SQL and NoSQL databases; data pipeline and workflow management tools, such as Knime, DataFlow, DataPrep, Airflow, or Talend etc.; object-oriented/object function scripting languages, such as Python, Java, C++, or Scala etc.; big data

tools, such as Hadoop, BigQuery or Kafka, etc. May work remotely in an ACG footprint state within the continental United States. Occasional visits to office in Dearborn, MI required. Must have legal authority to work in U.S. EEOE.
