About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to join our talented team. As a Senior Data Engineer at Bits, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and optimizing our data infrastructure and pipelines. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including data scientists, analysts, and product managers to ensure our data infrastructure meets the needs of our data-driven initiatives.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles
• Expertise in Python or similar programming languages
• Extensive experience working with large datasets, designing and implementing data pipelines, and ETL processes
• Strong SQL and database skills
• Proficiency in cloud-based data platforms, such as AWS or GCP
• In-depth knowledge of data warehousing and data modeling concepts
• Experience with distributed systems and big data technologies, such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka
• Ability to optimize and tune data pipelines for performance and scalability
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Prior experience in the FinTech industry is a plus
