About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to join our talented team. As a Senior Data Engineer at Bits, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and optimizing our data infrastructure and pipelines. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including data scientists, analysts, and product managers to ensure our data infrastructure meets the needs of our data-driven initiatives.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles
Expertise in Python or similar programming languages
Extensive experience working with large datasets, designing and implementing data pipelines, and ETL processes
Strong SQL and database skills
Proficiency in cloud-based data platforms, such as AWS or GCP
In-depth knowledge of data warehousing and data modeling concepts
Experience with distributed systems and big data technologies, such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka
Ability to optimize and tune data pipelines for performance and scalability
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong communication and collaboration abilities
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Prior experience in the FinTech industry is a plus
