Our team has an immediate Co-op opening for a Researcher.
Responsibilities:

Participate to the research of access control and rights management technologies, such as discretionary access control, mandatory access control, attribute-based access control, dynamic access control, rights management system, etc.
Participate to the proposing, designing and prototyping of innovative rights and access control technologies for Huawei Endpoint devices.
Producing insights of technology development in both academia and industry.

What you’ll bring to the team:

PhD or Master candidate in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or in related fields.
Good understanding of rights and access control mechanisms in popular platforms such as Linux, MacOS, and Android.
Proven programming ability in C++/C, and proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and Bash.
Good understanding of security concepts: symmetric-key cryptography (block ciphers, MAC, and authenticated encryption), public key cryptography (digital signatures, encryption, and key establishment).
Experience with kernel development is an asset.
Experience with machine learning and deep learning is an asset.
