Data analyst

About The Role
Work within our Telecommunications Fixed Networks team, making a difference in the way we work!

We are seeking a Data Analyst to assist the team to achieve their project outcomes by extracting, analysing and translating data from internal, external systems and field worker reports.
 

What you’ll be doing:

• Extract, manipulate and analyse data and proactively communicate and collaborate this with managers and the team
• Ensuring contractual data compliance standards are maintained
• Understand the business areas needs to ensure that data reporting is fit for purpose and provide advice for continuous improvement in data capturing and reporting
• Manage data gathering and prerequisite tasks
• Develop Power Apps, Automate & Power BI Data objects (Datasets/flows/marts)
• Leverage Power platform capabilities to simplify and automate tasks
• Identify user interactions and pursue report enhancements to deliver insights
• Identify and translate business requirements into data requirements
• Work with data engineering team to develop data models
• Work with business to identify data transformation rules to deliver outputs
• Work with business to identify data quality requirements and reporting to manage
• Identify data trends and analysis, presenting with Power BI visuals

About You
You will have experience in a similar role ideally with a passion for creating and self learning.

You will also possess:

• Strong within MS Excel with strong capabilities with VBA
• Proven experience creating and development in Power BI
• Knowledge of Power Apps, Power Automate and logic app development
• Intermediate knowledge of data modelling
• Oracle SQL database experience and AZURE SQL server experience or knowledge
• Python experience (for automation)
• Adaptability and flexibility to work with multiple stakeholders and projects
