ETL Developer - Snowflake & Databricks - Assistant Manager

Looking for a seasoned Database Developer worked on Snowflake based implementation at large scale. Have experienced in either Azure and AWS cloud primarily on the architecture, design and implementation. The candidate needs to have a very good understanding of financial domain and of Bank Loans asset class. The Candidate is expected to have experience in delivering the solution in a complex environment using Agile. The candidate will be working on building next-gen Bank Loans platform.As Snowflake Developer you will:

• Design& Development of scalable applications involving cloud-based infrastructure (Azure/Snowflake/Python/Cosmos DB).
• Strong Programming knowledge in writing SQL queries/Stored Procedures, advanced cursors, functions, packages for Oracle Server or any another Relational Databases (Oracle/SQL Server).
• Should be able to work independently and collaboratively.
• Migrate or develop new application on the cloud platform
• Interact with various ops and engineering team
• Manage your efforts within the agile team and outside agile to ensure tasks are completed successfully by deadlines
• Understand user needs and put forth options for solutions. Anticipate critical issues and risks; take responsibility for resolution across the organization
• Provide advanced technical expertise in designing, estimating, and developing software applications to project schedule
• Retain accountability for the overall delivery.
• Knowledge in Py Spark, Scala will be added advantage.

These skills will help you succeed in this role with MUST and NICE to have skills

• 6+ overall experience in the industry
• Prior experience migrating application workloads on a cloud provider (AWS, Azure, Databricks) in financial services would be a plus
• 5+ years of strong experience in relational (SQL, Oracle), Snowflake and data warehouse technologies and in-memory databases.
• Strong Programming knowledge in writing SQL queries/Stored Procedures, advanced cursors, functions, Query tuning.
• Experience and working knowledge in Spark, Scala, ADF, Azure MI SQL.
• Knowledge on CI/CD pipeline is a must
• Excellent oral and written communication skills for diverse audiences with excellent facilitation
• Azure developer associate or Azure Data Engineer or Snowflake certification is good to have.
• Prior working knowledge of JIRA and Confluence
• Solid experience in Agile methodologies (Scrum and Kanban)

Education & Preferred Qualifications:Minimum bachelor’s Degree required
