Job Description

Our Fulfillment Centers (FC) are an integral part of zooplus' distribution network to supply our customers across Europe quickly and in line with our quality standards. Logistics Service Providers (LSP) are operating 11 FCs all over Europe. Managing the performance of our FCs and maintaining a solid relationship to our LSP are the most important tasks in our daily business. A pro-active controlling of all key performance indicators within our production sites enables us to achieve our desired production plans in a cost efficient manner and is helping us to react quickly once blockers / unforeseen issues arise.

In this role, the "Business Analyst Fulfillment Performance & Projects" is providing the strategic data baseline for all fulfillment related projects surrounding FC launches & closures, warehouse adjustment & automation initiatives or similar projects. This contains providing insights on target markets and order intake patterns, as well as SKU categorizations and velocity analysis with the ambition to effectively supply all projects with a sufficient and high quality data & analysis foundation.

Furthermore, the "Business Analyst Fulfillment Performance & Projects " is supporting the management of established FCs by analyzing the allocation of SKUs to different sorts of picking locations, parcel production flow as well as the fill rate of storage locations. Thereby the "Business Analyst Fulfillment Performance & Projects" ensures the optimization of throughput capacity of different warehouse processes, a healthy & efficient utilization of warehouse equipment and identifies overall constraints, bottlenecks and improvement opportunities.

Contributing with meaningful insights for contract negotiations on fulfillment KPIs, as well as their maintenance & the development new KPIs, round of the field as "Business Analyst Fulfillment Performance & Projects" in combination with the responsibility to provide standardized performance & KPI reports to our  Senior Management. The role is driving standards and is making sure that current "manual" tasks are being transformed into system supported tasks. Gaining quickly insights about the businesses need, working independently and acting always service-oriented are essential for fulfilling this role to help us lift our fulfillment network to the next level.

Your Tasks:

  • Supports team via classical data analysis via SQL, Python, MS Access, MS Excel & Tableau
  • Conducts ad-hoc analysis requests and deep dives
  • Drives data analysis for management & optimization of established fulfillment centers
  • Drives data transparency with LSPs - creating operational insights
  • Manages projects related to data provision, data analysis
  • Supports contractual KPI maintenance & development
  • Drives development and introduction of new KPIs
  • Enriches various fulfillment projects with a strategic data baseline
  • Drives the fulfillment performance controlling & reporting towards the management board

Qualifications

  • Finished Bachelor degree in the field of economics or engineering with logistics/ SCM specialization, data science or comparable education
  • Minimum 2 years of sound working experience in a comparable position in data analysis/ business analysis
  • Work independently and autonomously
  • Experience in leading medium complex to complex role related projects
  • Comprehensive knowledge of MS Access, SQL , Phyton and Prompting
  • Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)
  • Strong data analysis skills, ability to produce, interpret and draw conclusions from data
  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
  • Good communication skills
  • Hands-on mentality
  • Excellent in English and German language spoken & written
  • Willing to travel <10%
