Senior/ Data Analyst, Vigilance & Compliance Branch (VCB)

We are looking for highly motivated individuals with a strong desire to protect public health and safety to join us as Senior/ Data Analyst, Vigilance & Compliance Branch (VCB).

• Design appropriate analyses and lead study proposals; Develop statistical analysis plans and conduct analyses for clinical database studies 
• Participate in data analytic projects to support post-marketing surveillance activities of health products
• Perform statistical analyses on clinical databases to generate insights for regulatory assessments
• Contribute towards the development of an active safety monitoring programme for medicines e.g. develop guidance documents and SOPs
• Contribute, as an author, to journal publications, conference abstracts and posters
• Supervise student interns as required
• Perform other related duties as required

Job Requirements

• Possess knowledge and experience in epidemiology plus training in related scientific disciplines, e.g. pharmacy, biostatistics, health informatics, or equivalent technical field with 3-5 years of experience
• Experience in hospital pharmacy practice or post-market surveillance will be an advantage
• Experience in analysing electronic health records and assessing data quality and fit-for-purpose
• Knowledge in at least one statistical programming language (e.g. SQL, R, Stata or Python)
• Peer-reviewed journal publications in topics related to drug safety and/or comparative effectiveness
• Good interpersonal, communication, presentation and writing skills
• Possess ability to multi-task and work well within a fast-paced, project-focused environment
