SUMMARY 

Join the team committed to crafting inspiring spaces and developing new ways to construct state-of-the-art facilities across the Sports + Entertainment and Data Center construction landscape.  

As our Analytics and Research Specialist you will conduct in-depth market research, assist in the engineering of proprietary databases, analyze internal enterprise data, create/manage/maintain software tools for active project operations, and contribute to analytics efforts related to a variety of Sports and Data Center pursuits and initiatives.  

RESPONSIBILITIES

Understand the assigned business challenge and develop a plan to identify, obtain, and analyze the necessary data to drive improved business performance. 

Extract information from internal systems, industry reports, public information, field reports, and other data sources - potentially external - to identify correlations and translate them into internal, operational insights. 

Conduct statistical analyses and randomized controlled trials. 

Consume and consolidate large amounts of data into centralized, sustainable, and repeatable measurements. 

Apply and integrate statistical, mathematical, and business analysis to manage and manipulate complex high-volume data from a variety of sources. 

Develop, analyze, and model operational, economic, management, and other organizational data. 

  • Quantify the competitive performance of business segments. 
  • Evaluate potential operational changes. 
  • Design new approaches and methodologies. 
  • Create visual representations of the data collected and any analysis insights into easily consumable resources. 

Review program data consistently to provide corrective action when necessary based on information collected and current trends to maximize business performance. 

Manual data extraction and architectural drawing takeoffs of historical design documentation. 

Develop tracking procedures for trend analyses and programmatic changes that result in a growing data base of useful information. 

Effectively work and build relationships with those of diverse backgrounds and organizational levels. 

All other duties as assigned. 

REQUIREMNTS and EDUCATION

  • Strong ability to concisely present and explain large amounts of information. 
  • Ability to think analytically with great attention to detail. 
  • Shown ability to follow complex instructions. 
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Shown understanding of business operations. 
  • Active listening skills and effective communication including an openness to diverse input and feedback. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or related field or equivalent experience. 
  • Minimum three years of related experience. 
  • Knowledge and experience with standard programming language such as SQL, C, C++, Python, or R. 
  • Experience with analytics and visualization tools (PowerBI, Tableau, Excel, etc.).
