The Position

 

The Director of Data Strategy is a principal stakeholder and subject matter expert supporting multiple functions at Claritas Rx.  This role advises internal and external groups on how market use cases can be better addressed with Claritas Rx solutions and data, advises on content articulating our value proposition, and successfully supports closed deals by deftly and consultatively showcasing our solutions.  These actions and others led by the Director of Data Strategy support customer growth at Claritas Rx and enhance the value the company creates for the biotechnology industry. 

Key Accountabilities      

  • Cultivate a deep understanding of all data flowing through our systems, including best practices for how relevant data can be sourced and integrated to support Claritas Rx platform use cases
  • Manage an evolving knowledgebase and document library around these best practices
  • Support internal teams with clarity around what data means and best practices for its use
  • Engage external stakeholders as a versatile expert around the domains of data integration and commercial biopharma analytics, enhancing stakeholder confidence around our technical capabilities
  • Provide input into proposals and SOWs related to expertise of the above domains
  • Train appropriate team members to deliver product demonstrations from a scripted baseline, and deliver these demos when needed
  • Consult with accounts on relevant technical matters, data partner selection and data sufficiency
  • Manage and oversee relevant consulting projects leveraging Claritas Rx expertise and data
  • Attend and speak at conferences, symposia, and other events to disseminate best practices and demonstrate Claritas Rx’s command of the space
  • Consult with internal Claritas Rx teams on needs for platform customization or innovation
  • Provide input to internal Claritas Rx teams to optimize marketing materials and related content articulating our value proposition
  • Mentor other team members around data understanding, stakeholder engagement and consulting project management

 

Who You Are

 

Skills/Knowledge:

  • Excellent written and oral communication, with great listening and interpersonal skills
  • Expert-level proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word
  • Ability to think creatively about how to add value to diverse stakeholders, and fluidly tailor marketing messages to audiences based on their context and objectives
  • Ability to prioritize, organize and execute multiple tasks with attention to detail
  • Ability to exercise judgment within broadly defined practices and policies when selecting methods and evaluation criteria for obtaining and measuring results
  • Ability to maintain focus and collaborate proactively in a fast paced, dynamic and team-oriented environment
  • Ability to work collaboratively across technical functions
  • Demonstrated experience presenting scientific content to external audiences

Education/Experience

Required:

  • 7+ years of experience supporting inside data management, commercial operations, market access, forecasting or another commercial biopharma role, either in industry or as a consultative partner in a data-centric role

Preferred:

  • MBA, MPH or other advanced degree in a technology-enabled healthcare service or related field
  • Demonstrated track record of field support as a subject matter expert or sales engineer
  • 3+ years of experience successfully managing and delivering consulting projects
  • 3+ years of executing complex data integration projects with a highly functional knowledge of system components and architecture
