Nemours is seeking Business Development and Data Reporting Analyst to work out of Delaware or Florida.

The Business Development and Data Reporting Analyst will have overall responsibility for exceeding client expectations through implementation, delivery and management of data solutions. On a day to day, he / she is expected to:

  • Focus on the preparation and planning for the Nemours U.S. News & World Report (USNWR) Pediatric Survey. This position is responsible in supporting clinical leaders in extracting and analyzing data on a proactive, ongoing basis.  This analyst will assist with preparation, coordination, review, submission and reporting activities relevant to the Survey. This individual will split his / her time between FL and DV. This position will be critical ensure preparedness and readiness for the Survey and post-Survey.
  • Gather quality assurance, and maintenance of departmental data sets such as market data, and consumer research data.
  • Provide analytic support to meet the identified needs of administrative and clinical leadership throughout the System;
  • Assess market position by analyzing internal and external environments and translating analyses into meaningful information that can be used to facilitate decision-making to ensure strategic positioning in a competitive market.
  • Adhoc reporting and analysis as needed

This position serves in a strategic role to lead and support business plans and data analyses and reporting. 

Essential Functions: 

  • Support patient care and business management through data analyses and reporting.  Knowledge of EPIC and a variety of other cross-function services is critical to success. Knowledge of finance systems. Knowledge of hospital and practice work flows is desirable. 
  • Develop trend reports, dashboards for tracking of US News and World Report metrics.  Communicate these findings effectively in both written and verbal format. 
  • Educate owners and leaders about the contents of the production dashboards and reports.
  • Evaluate and summarize weekly / monthly project(s) reports, identifying successful completions of milestones and deliverables, change management process and any problems or issues and any follow-up action required. Communicate status, issues and risks effectively to client and internal team members.
  • Create and maintain strong, resilient relationships with individuals at a variety of levels at the client organization and within internal teams inside of Nemours.
  • Work very closely with the Department Administrators, NEI, Finance and FL business planner team. 
  • Regular attendance is required.
  • Good communications skills are required.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree with major in, health care administration/operation, data analytics, finance.

Analytically oriented; strong written and verbal communication skills

1-3 years of job-related experience.
