Exadata and ExaCC Full time Resident Engineer

As a member of the Support organization, your focus is to deliver post-sales support and solutions to the Oracle customer base while serving as an advocate for customer needs. This involves resolving post-sales non-technical customer inquiries via phone and electronic means, as well as, technical questions regarding the use of and troubleshooting for our Electronic Support Services. A primary point of contact for customers, you are responsible for facilitating customer relationships with Support and providing advice and assistance to internal Oracle employees on diverse customer situations and escalated issues.

We are looking for a Systems Resident Engineer who will be responsible for the installation, Configuration and Maintenance of Oracle's technologies and products. Must be proficient and have hands-on working experience on the following areas. 
•   Oracle Linux
•   Oracle DB
•   OEM Cloud Control
•   Oracle Engineered Systems – Exadata and ExaCC
•   Backup and Restoration

Scope: Full time Resident Engineer providing OEM, Oracle Exadata, ExaCC and Oracle DB L2/L3 support as follows. 
1.    Perform Configuration of Cloud Control for Exadata, ExaCC and Oracle DB
2.    Management of Exadata, ExaCC and Oracle DB including generation and review of reports
3.    Application of patches for OEM, Exadata, ExaCC and Oracle DB
4.    Perform the following routine maintenance/BAU tasks for Exadata, ExaCC and Oracle DB:
•    Monitor activity on Exadata, ExaCC and Oracle DB
•    Generate and review reports on Exadata, ExaCC and Oracle DB
•    Restart the Exadata , ExaCC and Oracle DB
•    Performing Health check of Exadata, ExaCC and Oracle DB
5.    Perform all system activities, including assistance with Exadata, ExaCC and Oracle DB related performance issues as needed.
•    Extract/Access Exadata, ExaCC and Oracle DB Reports
6.    Assistance with monitoring routines for Exadata, ExaCC and Oracle DB
7.    Assistance with database issues and incidents in Exadata and ExaCC
8.    Perform duties on supporting operational / technical aspects of the Exadata, ExaCC and Oracle DB
