Consider a role as at Mayo Clinic!  Our position is looking for a candidate that  has Clinical Trials experience preferred.  This person will facilitate rigorous, efficient clinical trials led by Mayo clinician-investigators in impactful areas particularly around neurodegenerative diseases, breast cancer, melanoma, neuro-, and radiation oncology, but much more!

The Senior Biostatistician functions as a statistical consultant/project manager by applying statistical, programming and related methods such as machine learning and scientific expertise to the design, implementation, analysis, interpretation, and reporting of research, clinical and administrative studies. The Senior Biostatistician must possess intermediate-level expertise in a wide variety of statistical and techniques and other skills listed for Biostatistician, to meet the demands of study teams and investigators. The Senior Biostatistician must possess intermediate-level knowledge of biology and medicine, and be able to identify and apply analytical approaches as they relate to these fields. The Senior Biostatistician will direct development of case report forms (CRFs) and/or databases as well as monitor the progress for some well-defined biostatistical aspects of research and clinical studies. The Senior Biostatistician will delegate tasks to statistical programmers, Biostatisticians, and other study personnel for some well-defined studies. The Senior Biostatistician will summarize and communicate project findings to study team members, investigators, journal and grant reviewers, committees, and other individuals and entities as needed. The Senior Biostatistician will contribute to grant and report writing, scientific publications and/or regulatory reports. The Senior Biostatistician functions as the primary statistician on some well-defined studies.

Master's degree in Statistics, Biostatistics or equivalent. Alternatively, a Masters' degree in Mathematics, Public Health or Data Science with at least 12 graduate level semester hours in statistics, biostatistics or equivalent. 

Three years of experience as a Biostatistician or equivalent required. Experience in statistical analysis or programming software such as SAS, R or python. 

Prefer graduate GPA of 3.0 or greater. 

Expertise in the use of statistical computing and data management packages. Well-developed oral and written communication skills. Ability to prioritize, organize, and delegate various tasks on multiple, concurrent projects. Contributes to organizational initiatives in administration, education, or software development. Demonstrated success in project management. Demonstrates initiative in administration and education (e.g., seminars or training). A commitment to customer service with an attitude of owning the experience of each customer is required.
