• Transaction Banking, a cash management and payments platform for clients building a corporate treasury system.

• Merchant Point-of-Sale Lending, a platform that provides custom credit financing for home improvement merchants to offer directly to their customers.
• ETF Accelerator, a platform for clients to launch, list and manage exchange-traded funds.

Transaction Banking

Transaction Banking, a business unit within IBD, aims to provide comprehensive cash management solutions for corporations. OUR IMPACT

Data Platform is a global engineering team with pods across New-York, Bengaluru, and now Dallas. We are responsible for detailed technical design and development of data-intensive capabilities using existing and emerging technologies.

JOB SUMMARY AND RESPONSIBILITIES

As part of our global team you will work on the data platform reporting to a Technical Product Manager Lead. Your role includes understanding business requirements, analyzing product features and synthesizing technical requirements, work with engineering to deliver end to end solution and, create and maintain robust project plan to ensure smooth and timely delivery. Our platform is made of Java and Python services that inter-operate with Airflow, Flink, Kafka, various AWS services, as well as vendor and external systems.

You are expected to contribute to the vision and roadmap, and a world-class engineering culture, while integrating business value and client experience within the team. We are looking for a candidate who approaches business and product requirements with an analytical and inquisitive mindset, and has the ability to clearly articulate the problem statement and solution proposal.

This initiative is of critical importance to the success of the organization and our roadmap. Services like liquidity analytics, billing, client onboarding, reporting and others will rely on the data platform. Accurate, granular, complete and timely data is a key differentiator and competitive advantage in the market place.

We expect a successful candidate to have excellent communication skills, develop deep understanding of the system and functional architecture of Data Platform, work with a cross-functional team to design and deliver differentiated digital features and experiences and to be passionate about cutting edge data engineering.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Undergraduate degree in computer science/finance/business or equivalent work experience
• Minimum 3 years of experience working in a technical project/product management space
• Experience performing requirements analysis, use case writing, and test case planning
• Experience with fintech product delivery, a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills,
• Enjoys forging deep relationships with colleagues and clients  
• Experience working in projects leveraging APIs, Kafka, GraphqQL, a plus
• Process oriented thinker, with ability to create, maintain and communicate project roadmap with diverse stakeholders
• Strong technical project planning skills with ability to drive projects on time and at quality

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to understand basic data modelling
• Experience working in an agile framework
• Experience with software implementation lifecycle
• Experience driving end to end project delivery with independence 
• Experience in business/product requirements analysis in Financial Services or Fintech
