APTIV is one of the largest automotive suppliers and a global technology leader, with more than 180,000 people worldwide. We address mobility’s toughest challenges and deliver market-relevant solutions for our customers. Automotive Radars, along with other sensors form the backbone of Autonomous driving (AD) and ad advanced driver assistant systems (ADAS).

These technological advancements are enabled by complex radar systems with new waveforms, MIMO configurations and innovative antenna designs in different production technologies achieving additional sensing capabilities. Automotive radar systems are responsible for the detection and classification of objects and obstacles, their position, and speed relative to the ego vehicle.

The development of innovative automotive radar array systems along with the understanding in millimeter-wave propagation plays a significant role in the development of future automotive radar systems. Therefore, we are searching for talented students who bring in new ideas for prototyping and testing of the new radar- and antenna systems in the European Advanced Radar Team starting from September or October 1st 2024.
