Position Details

Overview

The Business Developer / Business Strategist will be in charge of the business development for both new and existing products of our section, which is in the area of AI / Software Business for Marketing and Business Intelligence.

The main responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Conduct market research and competitive analysis

- Develop a business strategy for our section, including new product planning and improvement of existing products

- Develop a Go-to-Market Strategy of the products and also execute the strategy (including client-facing and sales activities, etc.)

Please note that if a successful candidate wishes, our section would also be able to provide the candidate with the responsibility/task of the general Product Manager, depending on the expertise of the candidate, although this is not mandatory at all.

Fundamental Business Skills

- Excellent problem-solving ability (with problem-oriented thinking, critical thinking, logical thinking, hypothetical thinking ability, etc.)

- Excellent professional characteristics (with Intrapersonal Intelligence, Personal Impact, Leadership, and Entrepreneurial Drive)

Strategy Planning and Business Development Skills

- Work experience in market research and competitive analysis

- Work experience in developing a business strategy

Desired Qualifications

Strategy Planning and Business Development Skills

3+ years of work experience at a management consulting firm or at the corporate / business planning department at a company (including a startup)

Product Management Skills

Work experience as a product manager

Technical Skills

Work experience as an engineer or the equivalent practical experience

Japanese Language
