As a Manager you will be reporting to Business Process Improvement Leader (Global), you will assume responsibility to drive business transformation and digitization capability. You will act as a change agent, drive strategic business transformation initiatives aimed to achieve optimal performance. You will collaborate with business leadership to create a process transformation strategy, develop recommendations, and support the execution of improvement initiatives through re-engineering, automation, and digitization initiatives.

What you will do:

  • Lead cross functional projects using advanced data modelling and analytics techniques to translate complex data into useable insight
  • Build, develop, deploy and maintain data models, reporting systems, dashboards and performance metrics
  • Work with Business Process Experts and Divisional and Functional stakeholders to understand information needs and be able to translate these into quantifiable analytics problems
  • Work with Business Process Experts to deploy tools and reports into the business including documentation and user training as well as ongoing support
  • Work with Data Engineers and Information Services colleagues to build sustainable data pipelines to support reporting and analytics
  • Create and execute testing solutions to validate tools and reports and ensure that data quality is maintained
  • Responsible for the development of wider Enterprise analytics capability through training and provision of data to support self-service analytics
  • Responsible for creating a lean culture in the analytics team, automating data flows and reducing manual processes
  • Implement analytics project management capabilities
  • Responsible for recruiting, training and developing the analytics team
  • Manage the demand pipeline and prioritizing the team workload
  • Promote the culture of information driven decision making in Stryker through communication and network building
  • Oversee team of Business System Analysts supporting the Enterprise Planning Tools

What you need:

  • Minimum of 10+ years business experience including 3 years in a people management role within Analytics, Data Science preferably with experience in Supply Chain/Operations
  • Good understanding of ERP and Planning systems
  • Exposure to Network modelling is a plus
  • Experience of leading global teams
  • Demonstrated track record in driving operational performance via strong leadership and change management skills
  • Program and project management experience, preferably with experience of Agile with Analytics projects
  • Demonstrated experience networking and influencing senior leadership
  • Experience of developing and deploying analytics solutions
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau
  • Strong SQL  , Power Apps , Python skills 
  • Experienced working with Azure or similar environment
  • Preferred experience provisioning and working with Enterprise data lakes
