The AI/Data Science Team at Reveleer is responsible for parsing through voluminous sets of medical documents, surfacing key insights, and providing novel solutions to problems faced by our customers on a daily basis.

You will be joining a team in charge of Quality/Hedis measure parsing for both retrospective and prospective analysis, but it's ok if you're unfamiliar with these terms!

As a Full Stack Engineer, you'll have the opportunity to make an impact in multiple areas of focus including core natural language processing infrastructure, a new internal web app, and a new backend API that will provide data to other teams across Reveleer.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Work on building, maintaining, and scaling our event-driven architecture responsible for processing large volumes of medical documents monthly.
• Design, build, and maintain a new internal web application using modern web technologies and best practices.
• Design, build, and maintain a new backend API using modern technologies and best practices.
• Work to extend and improve the existing backend architecture powering a multi-step natural language processing workflow.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment between technical solutions and business objectives.
• Contribute to the development of next-gen NLP architecture using a mix of machine-learning and classical NLP, with a focus on scale, performance, and security.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

• Extensive experience building scalable software from conception to production.
• Proficiency in front-end technologies such as React, Vue, Ember, or Angular, and JavaScript/Typescript.
• Strong proficiency with writing backend software using Python and web API frameworks such as DRF, Flask, Starlette, or FastAPI.
• Strong proficiency building intricate event-driven infrastructure using CloudFormation or Terraform on AWS.
• Proficient with both SQL and NoSQL database systems.
• Experience designing and building CI/CD workflows using Bitbucket Pipelines or similar technologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

ABOUT YOU:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years experience as a software engineer across the stack.
• Emotionally intelligent team player with passion for continuous learning and evolution.
• Strong detailed approach to writing clean, maintainable code with unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
• Ability to perform code-reviews and participate in collaborative engineering discussions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment at the crossroad of startup hustle culture meets rapid scale-out.
• Ability to take on complex problems, learn quickly, and persist towards a solution.
• Experience with healthcare interoperability such as CCD/FHIR/HL7. (preferred)
• Experience with NLP & ML technologies like spaCy, bedrock, regression, LLM, etc. (preferred)

SALARY RANGE: $120,000 - $140,000 / annually

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. Pay is based on several factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
