Your new job includes

As an IT Consultant (m/f/d) Data Engineer, you will ensure smooth integration and efficient data management between SAP and non-SAP systems, support the implementation and operation of new technologies and work closely with the relevant internal interfaces. In particular, you will

• participate in IT and business projects and take on sub-project management if necessary
• model data flows and implement ETL routes using SAP, Azure and Google Big Query
• set up and further develop data catalog
• ensure maintenance and operation
• design end-to-end solutions based on projects and business requirements for analysis applications and data transfers
• ensure data quality and implement best practices for data management and data security

Preferred Profile

• Completed studies in computer science, business informatics, engineering or a related field 
• Knowledge of at least two of the technologies mentioned (SAP Datasphere, Azure Data Lakes, Google Cloud Big Query) 
• Experience in programming with Python and SQL as well as knowledge of YAML, Bash, ABAP, Scala, R, Terraform
• Expertise in software development and initial knowledge of version control (Git or Bitbucket), CI/CD (Azure DevOps) and Kubernetes
• Initial experience in agile project methodology (e.g. SCRUM) and requirements management (data & analytics) is an advantage
• Very good written and spoken English language skills, German language skills are an advantage
