As part of the Transformation, Digital & Data and Implementation (TDI) team within CMS department, you will be responsible for Developing the data management plan for the Flemish Regulator.

Your duties will include the following:

• You will map the data services that our client offers for parties connected to the Local Transmission network in Flanders
• You will describe the data flows (from source systems to exposure to external parties) together with business analysts and other business and IT profiles.
• You will map the impacts of our client’s ambitions on these services, the underlying flows and source systems together with business analysts and other business and IT profiles.
• You will map of the development of the necessary evolutions on a timeline and collect the associated costs.
• You will visualize the complex process in a structured and clear way (supported by business analysist)
• You will translate all information in a data management plan and provide the necessary texts and presentations which can be shared and consulted with external stakeholders (internal, external and regulators).
• You will be able to organize meetings with relevant internal stakeholders to gather the relevant information.
• You will review and refine the information collected in the framework of the data management plan and ensure the coherency regarding level of details, correctness of data, ...

Remark: at some moments, this mission might not represent a full-time activity. Therefore, the profile might also be asked to do similar tasks for another initiative, still in the same organization (TDI\Business & Data Architecture). E.g. analysis of data management process feeding the guild for Data Stewards.

Requirements

Requirements:

• You have a good knowledge of the energy sector and more particular of the market functioning.
• You have a sound background in the data management.
• You can take the initiative, work independently, and coordinate transversal projects.
• You have a systemic mind and are an excellent communicator.
• You have strong analytic skills required for performing the profound analyses of the data needs.
• You have very good communication skills required for developing a data management plan and providing the necessary presentations and texts adapted the to the required management level.
• You have an excellent communication (spoken and written). The communication will be in Dutch since the data management plan is for the Flemish regulator.
• You have a good knowledge of French and English.
