What you’ll be doing:

Lead the Salesforce data management function for the sales operations team. This includes ensuring the integrity and accuracy of our Salesforce data, streamlining contact enrichment processes and analyzing performance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze data requirements, design efficient data management processes, and implement best practices to optimize the use Salesforce data for our organization. Lead strategic projects that arise over and above the day-to-day portfolio management. Analyze and document complex business problems, data and process requirements of a given initiative; potentially spanning internal and external business entities. Provide analysis to support ROI and value drivers needed to justify projects.

  • Develop and execute the Salesforce data strategy 
  • Create a cross-functional data roadmap in collaboration with Sales (Vertical and Commercial), Marketing Ops, Business Universe, and SDS 
  • Provide guidance and support in identifying and resolving their data governance issues, including data cleansing and data quality 
  • Identify opportunities for improving data quality, data governance, and data management processes
  • Identify root causes of data quality issues and implement corrective actions 
  • Establish processes to improve data accuracy, completeness, and consistency 
  • Implement regular data cleanup processes to remove duplicates, obsolete records, and outdated information 
  • Define and implement data archiving policies

What you bring to the table:

  • Strong understanding of data governance policies and standards to maintain data accuracy, consistency, and completeness. 
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with large and complex data sets. 
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. 
  • Deep understanding of Salesforce CRM and Services data models and metadata 

What’s needed- Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of experience in a Data Management BA role. 
  • 2+ of experience with Salesforce.com
  • Salesforce Administrator certification required. 

What’s needed- Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven experience in Salesforce data management, including data integration, migration, and automation of process 
  • Hands on experience with data management tools, including Demand Tools. 
  • Leadership experience, with the ability to lead, mentor, and develop a team of data management professionals
