Responsibilities

We are looking for a data engineer who will support the technical delivery of our Vestas Data Management system through coding, development, testing, debugging and maintenance to continuously improve and optimize the solution.

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient ETL processes and data models using Informatica tools including data quality rules, mappings, and workflows and develop data profiling and data cleansing processes
• Collaborate with other key roles in Data Products and Platforms to understand requirements and develop solutions for MDM, Data Quality, Data Catalog & other data management solutions
• Build and maintain data pipelines and support systems failure and troubleshoot issues, RCAs & bug fixing
• Ensure complete technical documentation exists for all projects and processes
• Identify opportunities for enhancement, automation, and optimization

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related subject area, and experience in the data field
• At least 4 years experience as a data developer or data engineer or similar role with working experience in various Informatica products or other similar data management products
• Proficiency in computer programming and coding (e.g. Python, R, JavaScript, SQL)
• Knowledge of Data Management, Data Quality, and Data modeling
• Knowledge of ETL processes and tools
• Experience with APIs (e.g. REST/SOAP)
• Strong in software engineering fundamentals; experience in an Agile/Scrum environment preferred
• Experience with requirement analysis, design, development, testing, and documentation including version control practices and technologies
