Roles & responsibilities
Delivery
•Manage and lead project teams to perform key steps in the data analysis process, ranging from data extraction, data preparation, develop analysis model and visualize results •Leverage data analytics tools and techniques to identify patterns, extract outliers, and perform analyses to address Audit risk •Design and review data visualizations to align with use requirements •Review written deliverables and reporting of outcomes to audit engagement team and/or clients •Development
•Manage and lead project teams to develop data analytics solutions and data-driven technology assets for Audit engagement team and external clients •Manage solution features, following development best practices and architecture guidelines •Manage solution testing and validating process ensuring the reliability of the dashboards or solutions •Guide team for competence in a broad range of technologies and frameworks for managing all aspects of the data lifecycle •Undertake technical training to acquire and demonstrate expertise in data analysis and design and build of solutions •Keep abreast of developments across the data and analytics landscape, with the desire to translate cutting-edge techniques and technologies into our project outputs •Take part in the development of an innovation culture within the team and promoting new ways of workingIn addition, you will be required to:
•Undertake larger and medium-sized assignments independently or assist in larger assignments reporting Director. •Participate in the design, development, and implementation of data-driven audit procedures. •Work with KPMG engagement teams to discuss results from the automated audit procedures and write SQL queries and/or Python scripts on the data to pull reports as required. •Process large data extracts from client ERP systems into the KPMG proprietary tool including data cleaning and data preprocessing (debugging). •Visualize audit results using Microsoft Power BI. •Understand IT/ERP systems from Functional or Techno-Functional perspective. •Work with client IT management to obtain data. •Establish strong professional relationships with onshore team members through weekly meetings and calls with onshore stakeholders. •Provide regular updates on work pipeline, discussions with onshore teams to the entire team. •Review the work performed by the subordinates and coach them. •Provide support/assistance for proposals/business development. •Document steps of data-driven and automated audit procedures. •Prepare and maintain related project technical training documentation. •Prepare functional specifications based upon internal requirements. •Understand data from functional perspective and have strong or sufficient technical skills to resolve issues and process engagements.
Educational qualifications
•Engineering (Computer Sciences) Graduate or Master of Computer Application; or Chartered/Cost Accountant with ERP/ Data Analytics experience; or Engineering (Computer Sciences) along with MBA (Finance or Systems) •Work experience •The candidate must have 7 - 8+ years of relevant experience in a similar role, preferably experience with Big 4/leading Audit firms or their shared service center would be preferred, proven technical project management skills / debugging skillsMandatory technical & functional skills
•Experience working with SQL Management Studio, SQL Integration Services and/or SQL Server Reporting Service and hands-on experience with Python including common data libraries, e.g., pandas and NumPy (Experience writing SQL queries and Python scripts, and development/debugging of stored procedures. Understanding and experience with T-SQL. This knowledge should be documented by practical field work in extensive data analytics or data migration projects.). •Experience working with PL/SQL to manage data in Oracle E-Business suite (R11, R12 or Fusion). •Experienced working with any ERP System (SAP/Oracle/MS Navision etc.). •Proficient in Alteryx. Alteryx product certification, e.g. Alteryx Designer Core or Alteryx Designer Advanced, is a Plus. •Working experience in Databricks, PySpark. •Basic understanding of Finance domain and accounting. •Exposure to graph databases, e.g. Neo4j, is a plus. •Use of SSIS platform for performing ETL tasks is a plus. •Experience working with ABAP (SAP) in respective implementation/enhancement/support projects is a plus. •Desirable Skills – Star Schema and Data Warehousing concepts.* Salary range is an estimate based on our AI, ML, Data Science Salary Index 💰
