What you’ll do

As a Data Architect you will be responsible for designing, managing and delivering analytical insights and solutions through data analysis, data management and data science. Your prime responsibilities will be delivering technical, business strategic expertise and ensuring proper governance of data sources, models, attributes and analytic platform.  You will provide data architecture expertise to ensure our data is secured, stored, managed and used as per best practices and complies with legislation. A key focus for the role is to lead and manage cross-functional programs, independently developing, recommending and implementing improvements to existing data, metadata and governance processes. 

You will be involved in setting data architecture strategy and standards, combined with understanding and rationalising current databases, data flows, tools and methods especially in the context of our Transformation program. You will be providing thought leadership both internally and externally regarding the use and application of data & analytics for competitive advantage.

As a Data Architect you will also be mentoring and guiding the junior resources of the team.

What experience you need 

  • 5-7 years of  hands-on experience in data analysis and data modelling , particularly applied to common and specific business uses 

  • Experience designing and developing relational and non-relational data models in a variety of database technologies (GCP, Oracle, Microsoft, etc.).

  • Good understanding of  cloud and on prem technologies, structured and unstructured data, streaming and reposed data 

  • Experience designing data structures and solutions with a business's core infrastructure 

  • Experience with data modelling techniques and tools 

  • Understanding and ability to work with data catalogues, metadata and operational / regulatory risk is also expected

  • Experience in analytics and AI solutions 

 What could set you apart

  • Working experience in difference SDLC process (agile and waterfall environment)
