Job Description

As an IT Business & Data Analyst Regulatory & Investment Compliance, you will work at the interface between the bank and IT with a focus on compliance. In this varied and responsible role, you will support the technical development of our applications in areas such as Market Surveillance, Trading Compliance and Advisory & Suitability Controlling with the Compliance teams. 

 You are responsible for:  

• Analysis and optimisation of IT-supported business processes in the area of compliance to ensure that regulatory requirements are met efficiently and effectively. 

• Analysing and managing data, including the creation of dashboards and reports to monitor and ensure compliance with rules. 

• Development and implementation of IT solutions to support the compliance department, including the integration or further development of compliance software and systems into the existing IT infrastructure. 

• Liaise with various stakeholders including IT development, compliance officers and external auditors to ensure all compliance requirements are understood and implemented correctly. 

Requirements

 Your skills are:

• Degree in business informatics, computer science, business administration or a comparable field of study and relevant professional experience in the financial sector, preferably in the compliance area. 

• Sound knowledge of data analysis and management, including the use of tools such as SQL, Power BI or similar technologies to analyse and visualise complex data sets. 

• Experience of working in agile teams and implementing IT solutions (preferably in conjunction with Avaloq and/or Nice Actimize), ideally in a bank regulatory environment. 

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with the ability to present complex issues in an understandable way and communicate effectively with various stakeholders. 

• Fluent in German and good command of English.
