Our goal is to increase our analytical capabilities and derive actionable insights into our critical business issues, as well as create a scalable data infrastructure and user-friendly reporting environment that can effectively support our growing company.  The Sr. Analyst, People Analytics Insights Delivery role is responsible for bringing together the right analytics, the right people, and the right problem solving to drive positive business outcomes.

What you’ll do:

  • Drive better hiring, retention, and employee productivity outcomes through the delivery of analytical insights
  • Analyze and “make sense” of data; translate findings into insights and recommendations that prioritize actions with the greatest impact for our business and our associates
  • Consult with key Gartner business leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to understand goals and deliver comprehensive analytics (reports, analytics, and presentations) to diagnose issues, identify risks, and lead conversations to inform and shape decision making
  • Partner with colleagues within the HR Strategy and Operations pillars – (People Analytics Insights Delivery, Product Development, Data Engineering, Data Science, HCM Reporting, and HRIS)– to design and deliver effective, innovative solutions to ongoing business problems; as well as designing our People Analytics future state by preparing our organization for scale through technology and automation
  • Lead and contribute to People Data project workstreams, and drive best practices, change management, and analytical understanding across Gartner

What you’ll need:

  • Experience and Education
    • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
    • 3 - 4 years of working experience; preferably working in data analytics and visualization, business intelligence, or analytical consulting (experience working with workforce or talent analytics a plus)
    • Advanced Excel and presentation/meeting facilitation skills
    • Experience (or strong interest in) working with SQL or statistical/coding languages (R, Python) for data analysis, modeling, and process automation
  • Strategic problem solving:
    • Ability to translate abstract business questions into actionable answers with data sets, charts and presentations
    • Experience getting to a v0.5 solution, gathering and incorporating feedback, and then iterating to v1.0+ with a continuous improvement mindset
  • Excellent communication and collaboration:
    • Comfortable creating compelling data visualizations for non-technical audiences
    • Ability to comprehend and translate communication between technical and non-technical audiences
    • Ability to collaborate with cross-functionally to scale newly developed capabilities

Who you’ll work with:

  • Internal HR Strategy and Operations partner teams (People Analytics Insights Delivery, Product Development, Data Engineering, Data Science, HCM Reporting, and HRIS)
  • Key stakeholders and leaders within HR and throughout the business including Talent Acquisition, HR Partners, Training/Learning & Development, Workforce Planning, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, Finance, Sales Planning/Operations

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 69,600 USD - 96,750 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. Our talent acquisition team will provide the specific opportunity on our bonus or incentive programs to eligible candidates. We also offer market leading benefit programs including generous PTO, a 401k match up to $7,200 per year, the opportunity to purchase company stock at a discount, and more.
