Student Assistant Data Processing and Data Analysis

We are the Applied Machine Learning (AML) group within the Department for Artificial Intelligence. Currently we are looking for a student research assistant for the Data Processing and Data Analysis Workflow to provide us with the data that feed our Machine Learning Models. What you will do

• Search, acquire and obtain Data relevant for our Machine Learning models

• Clean, merge and preprocess data

• Analyze and visualize data and check their validity and plausibility

• Create databases and insert data to them

• Extract data from databases

What you bring to the table

• Study of computer science, mathematics, physics or similar with good to very good grades

• Strong programming skills in Python with knowledge of libraries such as NumPy, Pytorch, Pandas, Scikit-learn, Matplotlib etc

• SQL is a plus

• Git knowledge is a plus

• Experience in using Linux (Ubuntu) via the terminal

• Writing clean and concise code

• Diligence in implementing, testing and documenting algorithms

• Curiosity about a deeper understanding of Deep Learning architectures

The position is initially limited to 1 year. An extension is explicitly desired.

The monthly working time is 80 hours. This position is also available on a part-time basis.
